This website is operated by Seb Terry, based in Los Angeles, California. You can reach us at seb@100things.com.

Booking and speaking enquiries. When you submit a booking or enquiry form, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, organization, event date and location, and your message. This information is stored in our website's secured database and is used to respond to your enquiry and coordinate the engagement.

Newsletter signups. When you join the email list, we collect your email address and the page you signed up from, so Seb can send you occasional updates about keynotes, stories and projects.

Goal forms. When you share a goal — at a live event via QR code, or through an event link sent before an event — we collect your first name, email address, your goal and, for event links, why it matters to you. Seb uses goals to shape his presentation. If you shared a goal through an event link, we send you one follow-up email on the day of the event with a short action plan; every such email includes an unsubscribe link. Opting into “keep me in the loop” adds you to Seb's email list.

Direct email. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to send.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited. It uses cookies and collects device, browser, approximate location and pages viewed. IP addresses are anonymized. No form contents are sent to Google.

If you're visiting from the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google Analytics only runs if you click “Accept”. If you're visiting from anywhere else, Google Analytics runs by default to measure site usage; you can turn it off anytime with “Decline” in the banner or “Cookie settings” in the footer, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out. We use your approximate country (from your IP address, not stored) only to decide which of these applies.

We don't use analytics for advertising, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't sell or share personal information. We do not collect information about you from other sources.

We use the information you give us to respond to enquiries, plan and coordinate speaking engagements, send the newsletter you asked for, and keep internal records of contacts and correspondence. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

Enquiry notifications, newsletter emails and the event-day goal follow-up email are delivered through a managed email delivery service. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, as does every event-day follow-up email (sent once, on the day of the event, to people who shared a goal through an event link). Recipients who unsubscribe, bounce or mark messages as spam are added to a suppression list so they are not emailed again. Enquiry-related notifications go only to Seb and his authorized assistant.

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run this site: our hosting and database provider, which stores the information you submit, and our email delivery provider, which sends messages on our behalf. We also use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to measure page visits, under the consent rules described above. These providers process information only to deliver their services to us.

Information you submit is stored in a secured database with access-restricted permissions. Administrative access is limited to Seb and his authorized assistant, who sign in with authenticated accounts.

Some storage is strictly necessary for the site to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice and keeping an administrator signed in to the private admin area. These are always on.

Optional Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are used to measure visits. In the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are set only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner, and until then nothing is loaded from Google. Elsewhere they are set by default unless you decline or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can withdraw at any time by choosing “Cookie settings” in the footer and selecting “Decline”; analytics stops immediately and we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, email seb@100things.com and we will take care of it.

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
